Maritime schools in Denmark

SIMAC - Svendborg International Maritime Academy

If you want the BIG drivers license to ships, then you want to go to SIMAC. Only problem is that this school has rapidly grown into the most bureaucratic school in Denmark. They buy expensive electronic whiteboards, but place them so no one can use them, and then complain about their lack of money. If you want to become a single or dual officer then you want to come to this school. Just be warned... They do have problems with their coordination between the teachers and the management.

Marstal

This school is considered on of the good old maritime schools in Denmark. They a quite flexible, and as far as I know every student ever gone there, is positive. The big problem is this schools location.

Skagen

This place... Well... If you want to become a fisherman, then this place is great. (If not, then stay away...)
